Sculpture by the Sea UK / Cerflun ar lan y Mor featured on Welsh Radio.

Children from YGG Llwynderw were interviewed for a radio arts programme during a SBS arts workshop at Blackpill Beach in Swansea. Talking about the sculptures they have made on the beach, they discuss the inspirations behind them.

"Stiwdio" goes out on BBC Radio Cymru at 6pm on Thursday, June 11th, with a repeat on Saturday 13th at 6.30pm.

Our team of 20 talented Swansea and West Wales artists are available to run small or large interpretative and fun events or workshops for all age groups at competitive rates. FREE Drop in workshops for all ages and cultures.

TIMES: Between 10.00 am and 4.00pm
Join team of artists to create a temporary display of beautiful and interesting sculptures on different beaches.

 

 

The 2008 festival was held on four days at Bracelet Bay, Caswell Beach, Sandfields Beach and Blackpill Beach in the beautiful coastal area of Swansea and Gower Peninsula, South Wales at the end of July.
