EVENTS CALENDAR - FEB/AUG 2012 An Exhibition of Photographs of Nature Into Art Project (includes our annual summer Festival and workshops with our partner schools) at the Blackhills Wildflower Centre, Gower. This exhibition was opened on Friday, 3rd February at 11.00 am by Edwina Hart Am. Cafe/ arts and crafts and plants - see www.gowerwildflowers.co.uk for opening hours.

LOUGHOR FORESHORE PARK SCULPTURE PROJECT 2011 FEATURE -

Sculptures and interpretation carvings were installed in the Loughor Foreshore Park beside the estuary and officially unveiled by the Lord Mayors of Swansea and Carmarthen in December 2011.

2011 Festival

Our exciting Sculpture festival programme of beach based days for the community was the highlight of this summer with a record number of people attending and some of the best sculptures created ever at the festival.The eighth annual Sculpture by the Sea UK Festival ran for six days in Swansea and Gower between 22nd and 27th July. It was an astounding success again with lots of people getting involved and having fun.

2011 ART IN THE ENVIRONMENT FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS RESEARCH PROJECT
CELF YN YR AMGYLCHEDD AR GYFER YSGOLION UWCHRADD PROSIECT YMCHWIL

During Spring 2011, Sculpture by the Sea UK, carried out a special research project working with 15 Welsh secondary schools. They have been looking into the possibilities of future art in the environment projects for Secondary Schools in Wales where pupils will work with artists to build site specific sculpture in their school grounds.
