Prosiect Celf Gwarchodfa Natur yr Holl Dymhorau

This interpretative art project aims to achieve an awareness of a local natural environment and its wildlife for school children, through observation and study in an artistic way. The stimulation of natural creativity and imagination through environmental art increases confidence and well-being for participants. The importance of sustaining and preserving the natural places and its wildlife is highlighted, giving the children a lifelong understanding and appreciation of nature.

Mae'r prosiect celf ddeongliadol hwn yn anelu at greu ymwybyddiaeth ymhlith plant ysgol o'r amgylchedd naturiol a'r bywyd gwyllt lleol trwy wyliadwriaeth ac astudio mewn ffordd gelfyddydol. Mae symbylu creadigrwydd a'r dychymyg trwy gelf amgylcheddol yn cynyddu hyder a lles y cyfranogwyr. Amlygir pwysigrwydd cynnal a chadw lleoedd naturiol a bywyd gwyllt, gan ennyn dealltwriaeth gydol oes ymhlith y plant, yn ogystal â'r gallu i werthfawrogi byd natur.

NATURE at Mumbles Hill LNR /NATUR

The project takes place at two Local Nature Reserves per year - one in Pembrokeshire and one in West Glamorgan and involves four local Primary Schools per area taking part each season. Nature Reserve workshops for observation, artistic documentation and the creation of temporary sculpture for each school are followed up with development and creation days for participants, resulting in interpretative artworks for the sites and for display in their communities. The season - SUMMER -is explored and documented at the two Reserves by local primary school children. Nature at the reserves in this season is illustrated above (Mumbles) and below (Colby). Resulting artworks by the children are also illustrated below. Last season - WINTER is featured on Schools page two.

Mae'r prosiect yn digwydd mewn dwy ganolfan warchod leol bob blwyddyn - y naill yn Sir Benfro a'r llall yng Ngorllewin Morgannwg ac mae'n cynnwys pedair ysgol gynradd leol bob tymor. Ar ôl cynnal gweithdai yn y Warchodfa Natur i bob ysgol ar wyliadwraeth, dogfennu celfyddyd a chreu cerfluniau dros dro, ceir diwrnodau datblygu a chreu ar gyfer cyfranogwyr, a fydd yn arwain at ddarnau o gelf ddeongliadol ar gyfer y safleoedd ac i'w harddangos yn eu cymunedau. Caiff tymor yr HAF ei ymchwilio a'i ddogfennu yn y ddwy Warchodfa gan blant ysgolion cynradd lleol. Gwelir byd natur yn y gwarchodfeydd yn y tymor hwn uchod (Y Mwmbwls) ac isod (Colby). Gwelir gweithiau celf gan y plant isod. Ceir y tymor diwethaf - Y GAEAF - ar dudalen dau.
